There could be many reasons why Perry is less active, more withdrawn, lost interest in food. It could be something like another cat has scared him, but it could be that he's had a fight & an abscess is forming, or he's caught a virus or infection. You should try gently handling him all over, & see if he reacts at all to being touched in a particular place, or if you feel any swelling, lumps, hot spots etc. It may pinpoint the problem, but your vet would do this anyway. I hope Perry starts to feel better soon ~ let us know how you get on at the vets. |

he's possibly eaten something as he has a very sore back of the throat, so antibiotics, painkillers and antacid and an appointment tomorrow morning to check he's improving. he's eaten since he got home and has had a wee and gone to bed, because the painkillers cause drowsiness anyway. Now I think about it, he's not been very vocal over the last couple of days! |
