Hi - im new here :-)Hi guys, Ive posted already but thought I would write a proper introduction here. Im 28 and living with my partner and we have one cat called Lola. Lola has free reign of the house and outside as we can work long hours and I dont like her being cooped up. She is a pretty tabby who was a stray who turned up at my mum and dads house when I lived there, and then never left! She is nearly 6 years old and a little minx. Her favorite things are sunbbathing, boxes, climbing on things and playing with balls. She goes through naughty phases and keeps us on our toes. I was woken this morning at 5.30am by her bolting up the stairs and into the bedroom and flying over my head so should could snuggle up on the bed. I would post a pic or two but im not sure how  Im thinking of getting a second cat but im not sure if she would get on with one so any advice is appreciated. I would like a rescue cat.

Hi and welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay Difficult to say if another cat would work in your household . . . however if Lola is on her own a lot a companion might be nice for her. It's all about managing a careful introduction and understanding a little about your cat's personality. It's rare for cats to absolutely hate each other (although it does happen), it's usually a case of they learn to live with another cat in the house . . . all my 3 did; they don't love each other but it's not fisticuffs either! |
