Daily Shred/Thread ~ Sunday

Morning everyone!!!!

Been up since 4:20 this morning and what a wonderful morning it is too Another heavy frost again last night. The stars are still twinkling merrily in the sky. The cats have had brekkies early and have gone back out apart from Moli who's made herself comfy on a dining chair.

Off to my MIL's for lunch today so that'll be nice. The kids can't wait they love going to nanny's

Hope everyone is well and you all have a great day!

Thanks Nae
Beautiful day here too, although there was fog which needed the sun to burn it off.
A lazy day for us - way too much sport on TV; braised lamb shanks and sunday papers.

Re: Daily Shred/Thread ~ Sunday

Hello all,

Sounds like a perfect day ahead for all of us.

Lovely day here very crisp and nice, took the girls out lovely morning came back to be mobbed by the birds as two of the feeders were out of seed!!!! as soon as I went into the shed to get the food they almost followed me. Must be getting used to me now they've all eaten and flown off sure they'll be back later. George Hanry (robin)has a friend another robin and hates the garden being filled with sparrows/tits/starlings etc. And if he can't chasethem off sits under the sundance and waits.
Made me realise I should buy some nuts for them, the starlings are sure to love them.

Katie's birthday today she is 14!!!!!! 14!!!!! I ask you where has time gone anyhow no family party this year - she is too old - she says. She's off out with her friends and sister spending her birthday money I suspect - good for her.

Having an early dinner roast " free range - organic" chicken. then a lesiurely bath and get ready to go to the wedding reception.

Have a nice day all. Karen

Re: Daily Shred/Thread ~ Sunday

HI all. Lovley day here again. Went to Church this morning, been roped in to the readings rota now, and also getting busy for our craft fair next week. Done a fair bit of housework today, been very lax with it all lately, I've been to concerned about Teddy to do much. OH has built the bonfire and gotten all the fireworks ready, so I'm off to make dinner in a mo, and then enjoy the show. Have a good evening everyone.

Re: Daily Shred/Thread ~ Sunday

Sounds like everyone is having a lovely Sunday! Weather here has been cold, sunny and crisp too. Morning was spent houseworking; hubby was finalising the garden lights which now work fabulously.

We then went to a 'Brewers Fayre' restaurant which wasn't half bad . . . very child friendly!! Spent most of the afternoon there and then went for a stroll round the twilit park in which the restaurant sits (shame it just happens to be the famous Mary-Ann Lenehan park - coz it's quite a nice one).

Last night's firework display was a flop as Dominik absolutely hated it . . . screamed or hid his face the whole time. Mind you - the display wasn't anything to write home about

Have a nice evening all
