Hi Pamela - so sorry to hear that you are crook. That must hurt - I had my tonsils and adenoids removed aged 5 - it was "the fashion" at the time. Hope you feel a lot better soon. Harris will make you feel better I'm sure. I am also wondering if Eileen is feeling better today - I do hope so. Not so cold here, but very windy and overcast. Looks as if it's about to chuck down any moment, but so far only drizzle. OH has his car in for service today, so I took him down to do a spot of shopping at our local farm shop and get some fresh fish from the fishman - the Irish line caught cod we had a couple of weeks ago was so delightful. Got some more cod and some natural smoked haddock for a kedgeree. Sorted out car insurance relatively simply in the end, after a couple of weeks of searching the compare-type sites! Laundry on the go, not sure what to do this afternoon as I am awaiting delivery on some more acid-free photo inserts for albums. Hopefully they may turn up tomorrow, otherwise Monday. Have a good day everyone. Hope that no-one has had to deal with damage or worse caused by the gales? |

Sorry to hear that Pamela. Doing laundry here too Angie. A bit blew off our roof last night, think its part of the chimney. Listening to music as so to distract me from the wind. |

Hi all! Cloudy and still well below seasonal norms: 1 C (33 F); may get rain tomorrow to finally wash away those heaps of dirty snow lingering everywhere. New snow is so clean and bright, and old dirty snow, ugh! No plans, paid bills and pottering. I too had my tonsils out at age 5, Pamela; hope you feel better soon. Angie, thanks for asking, the stomach bug is over and my appetite is back to normal! That cod you just got sounds good. SM, wind sounds bad where you are; hope it lets up. Enjoy theday! |

Hey all... Well, I'm back home from work, probably in for the evening, though there something on which I could go out for... I did say that it might not happen though... It's back to wild wet and windy here again - something else which really doesn't help with the getting out later on bit. Sorry to hear you're really not well Pamela, glad your tummy is better though Eileen. Stay safe and warm all |
