Decking thats now gone

This is the decking area I have now removed as you do when you are me.
It will become a garden area I hope but possibly not. Who knows the more time I have on my hands the more ideas I think of

It was the break in level that was the problem Angie....with Dad's balance its not a good thing to have different levels

Did I morph into Shelley???

Totally appreciate the change of level thing for your Dad - OH's Mum was the same. We have a couple of ramps still in place. OH wondered if we could have them removed but we are now used to them and it won't be that long before we may need them ourselves! Even rugs had to be removed in case OH's Mum tripped up on them, her knees were so arthritic.

Change is as good as a rest Karen

Looks like a good space to play with, enjoy making plans.

I always like your low maintenance garden scheme Karen, but I'm sure whatever you replace it with will look equally lovely as well as being more practical for your parents to get around the garden in.
