Re: Back in a bit!!

About 9pm the sky went very black not overhead but a few miles away, black, really really black. My brother-in-law was here (he always is) & we watched the sky- then we could see the lightning in the distance, I asked him where he thought the storm was & he said it would be in Telford! If that big black cloud was over your way Alex - that would have been one hell of a storm!

We had it here about 9.30 for about 15mins.

Re: Back in a bit!!

We had the mother of all storms at about 7. Dominik - self-confessed coward , stood at the window and ooohed and ahhhed at the lightning and the torrents of water streaming down the hill.

He then went to bed without a peep - somehow I don't think he'll be afraid of storms in the future (and Sebastian slept right through it) . . . unlike Mummy who was busying herself with dinner prep in the basement singing loudly
