Baskets and tubs

Anyone else started or completed even their baskets and tubs I have now managed to do the front ones they have busy lizzies in there tis year they did so well last year.
The back garden one cone shaped basket various plants in and the two wall baskets have busy lizzies too the big wall basket under the licing room window I have planted with carnations - perrenial ones in the hope of the scent coming through the lounge window underplanted with busy Lizzies
Now sure what to put in my other two wall baskets may go out tomorrow and get geraniums I do like them.

Re: Baskets and tubs

I've done my hanging baskets, went for red trailing geraniums, fuchsia, blue Brachycome, white Bucopa and lobelia. Also filled a few containers two with red geraniums, one with red busy lizzies and the wishing well with mixed busy lizzies. A few more to go yet...

As I'm still not too good with plant names yet, I had to go and get all the little labels out of my pots and baskets to tell you what I have in them lol! I have Brachycome Blue, surfinia blue, polygonum pink bubbles, verbena red, surfinia hot pink, lysimachia goldilocks and a trailing lobelia richardII.

Re: Baskets and tubs

Pics, please! I fell in love with blue Brachycome after seeing it here last Summer; got some seed, the tiniest seed I've ever seen, even smaller than basil seed, but none of it germinated! Apparently its not popular here in the States, can't imagine why, as my local garden center acted as if they'd never heard of it. I want some !!

Not at my garden centre, Mags! Can't imagine why, it's such a stunning colorful plant, and the most gorgeous blue!! I normally have no problem with starting things from seed, but not this time. Ah well, next year.....
