snowdrop sunday

Morning everyone,

I thought snow drop was an appropriate flower for today as we have light snow flurries juts now with heavier snow forecast for later.

Off to OHs sisters for dinner this afternoon and to meet her new kitty friend that she has taken on as her neighbours can no longer look after her. Shes about the same age as harris so still young. Her 2 kids will love having their own pet as we all have them.

Hope you all stay safe and warm today xx

Re: snowdrop sunday

Hi, Pamela, those to follow. Sorry you're expecting more snow, hope it won't be too bad or interfere with your dinner plans. But I love snowdrops too, such cheerful little flowers. Any chance of pics of the new kitty? Sunny and seasonable here, nearing 10:30 AM and only 8℃ (46℉); not windy. Still no frost here. All quiet here, got grocery delivery and vermouth yesterday, all set for the week. Broiled rainbow trout, cauliflower, potatoes rissole for dinner. Never got around to staring cards yesterday ...

Stay warm and dry, all!

Re: snowdrop sunday

evening all.
Put the tree up today only to discover we have no lights to put on si it stands naked apart from the fairy. I'm sure it's not going to survive the Basenjis anyway
Bought a new outfit for the works do on Friday, silver leggins and a short grey dress.
Also bought one or two presents.
Feel like i may be getting my youngest son's cold, i realy hope not.

Hope it doesn't get worse, Pamela!

Shelley, I've forgotten; how was Malaika last year with the tree?

Re: snowdrop sunday

Evening all! Sorry for late sign in - we've had great fun today as we went on a Schnauzer walk at Avon Heath Country Park in The New Forest. It was great to meet so many Schnauzer owners, Giant, Standard and most of all Miniatures. Monty was quite well behaved. I have yet to go through all the photos, so will post some tomorrow. The walk was great around heathland, so sandy underfoot and not as muddy as our walks of late. It stayed dry too!

Home to a casserole in the slow cooker! Grand.

(sorry for all the "great"s!)
