Wednesday

Morning all, bright and sunny here.
Work this afternoon, then going to see my parents and take Chris swimming.
Hoping my laptop will be back soon.

Re: Wednesday

Hi Shelley and everyone to come.

Had a good walk around the town today as it is cold but very pleasant, spoke to a friend I hadn't see in years and asked how her children are doing at school. Her eldest is 18 and that really made me feel ancient as I looked after him a lot when he was a baby, time flies. Bought new tree lights as the old ones didn't work anymore. The tree is up and the cats haven't batted an eyelid, carrying on with the other decs now, never been so early!

Have a great day all x

Re: Wednesday

Afternoon Shelley, PP and those to come along later. I had the dreaded breast screening this morning - ouch! The car parking was a nightmare and after having been round and round, I illegally parked in a disabled bay as there were several free. I was only there about 30 mins and felt soooooo guilty but it was either that or lose my appointment.

OH has gone to meet some friends with their dogs for a walk this afternoon, he's taken Monty but Dora and I (lucky girls) are at home. It is very gloomy here and with that mizzly rain. They will all be coming back for tea and mince pies, so I've just lit the fire.

Dora seems to have bounced back - literally! Her scar is very neat and is glued, she has internal stitches. Problem now is trying to stop her jumping up onto things, and I'm afraid we've failed to stop her getting up onto the chairs, well, being such a long-leggedy beastie, she just steps up really!!!

Hope everyone has a good day.
