Maddie's fur collar!

You would have thought Maddie had enough of her own fur without needing a meezer fur collar

Thanks Emma She's up and down really but the ups are getting more frequent than the downs and she has really clapped on weight to the point she is now carrying excess weight The vet is hopeful that the conditions that are causing her problems will 'burn themselves out' eventually and that her own immunity will kick in eventually. So fingers crossed. Thank you for asking x

Good to hear she will eventually "grow" out of her problems, such a pretty little thing

It's only a probable not a definite that she will 'grow out of the conditions' but we are all hopeful. She has had every conceivable test under the sun and nothing significant has been identified All they know is that her problems are down to cat flu as a very young kitten. They have desperately tried to isolate a responsible virus but everything comes up negative Her head X-ray did show some damage to her sinus' which will always leave her susceptible to a sneeze and possible recurrent infections but the vet is keeping an eye on her to reduce the chance of any further damage and is hopeful that once her own immune system matures she will be able to fight the infections more effectively. I think this is starting to happen now, so fingers crossed..
