when my cat was losing the clumps of hair and I took her to the vet, they found a stomach tumor and she died from cancer a few days later. Also, if it is a long haired cat they will rip their own matted fur out. I have a male himi that does this. If it was matted fur, this may be the reason, if not, better get to the vet and get this checked asap. |

It could also be stress related. Cats will pull their fur out if stressed badly. Pleae let us know the outcome of the vet visit. |
