Buttercup Monday

Hi all! A very gloomy murky day here, such a change from yesterday's sunshine.

OH, Monty and I have been for our walk - I have made myself a promise that I must go walking at least 3 times a week because I've found since I've had this blasted rash thing I've been walking less than when we only had the one day a week opportunity to go out. Bad habits. If I am right and I have cold urticaria, it's not going to get better so I need to just grin and bear it, at least it makes my cheeks look rosy.

OH has plugged the gaps temporarily in the garden with twiggy peasticks and I hope that will stop Monty getting through. I know I promised photos, but on looking at the gap, it is not really in a very good place for a photo. We may have to do something a bit more permanent but we'll see how they work first.

It's getting a bit colder now and I am just about to go and put on an extra jumper!

Hope all are well today and extra cuddles for all Catsey cats from me.

Re: Buttercup Monday

Afternoon Angieh... buttercups are my favorite flower.

After an unneeded 6am and 6.30 am wake up call (OH has a LOT to answer for) I woke up got up and was back in bed by 8.. what's even more shocking is I slept until 12.

Grey and gloomy day here. I am still waiting for my bathroom to be finished it has been 4 weeks since it has been started.

Hope everyone has a good rest of the day

Ju & Stevie x

Re: Buttercup Monday

Hi Angie, ju-ju, all to follow. Lovely day again, still unseasonably nice for almost mid November. Nearing 10:45 AM and already 16℃ (60℉), may make 21℃ by afternoon. No complaints from me, you all know how I dislike cold weather. Will be the usual quiet day, no errands. Leia's had her grass and is zonked out beside me having a good nap .... she has a hard life.

Ju-ju, you must have needed that sleep! Angie, hope the stick arrangement keeps the boyo in. I never heard of cold urticaria ....

Indulge yourself a little, you deserve it!

Re: Buttercup Monday

hello Angie, Ju , Eileen and anyone else to follow.
Bit of a quiet thread at the moment.
Weather been ok here, at least dry which can only be good.
Jerry is looking realy nice and shiney now.
need to do lots of training with Malaika this week, she was so excited to be given small pieces of corned beef for training treats that she couldn't listen to me properly and went through her reportoire, sit, high five, stick em up and all i wanted her to do was lie down, it was quite funny to watch.
Mended another broken antique doll, her kid body has numerous splits and she was leaking sawdust, i've used pieces of a kid glove to keep her body and soul together.
