Nelson Mandela

"No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite." — Nelson Mandela (Long Walk to Freedom)

"I am not a saint, unless you think of a saint as a sinner who keeps on trying." — Nelson Mandela

"I am not an optimist, but a great believer of hope." — Nelson Mandela

RIP Nelson Mandela, a man of grace, forgiveness and compassion.

Re: Nelson Mandela

Nelson Mandela fostered a legacy of peace and forgiveness. He was known as a peace leader and someone who could triumph against all odds. He will be missed.

Here is a good article I found that outlines what makes this man amazing (more of his famous quotes in here). Enjoy

Re: Nelson Mandela

I believe I have been privileged to have shared the earth with this amazing man. His capacity for forgiveness after his imprisonment and to work with his enemies towards peace shows his great humanity. He touched many lives and inspired others to carry on the cause. A rare being indeed.
Bless you Madiba, rest in peace.
