Sorry to hear that Jane, I hope he's ok. Can you feel all over his body to see if he reacts to a certain spot where he may have bruised himself? How tall was the tree? |

Cats are very good at landing on their feet. The problem is sometimes they smack their nose on the ground and can split their palate. Check inside his mouth to make sure he is ok there. Agree to check him all over and make sure he doesn't react to any sore points. |

Cats often have the knack of landing on their feet so he may be ok other than a bit shaken up. To be on the safe side, I would keep him indoors for the rest of the night and see how he is in the morning... |

If he has eaten and hasn't been sick I would think he'd be all right overnight. Check him thoroughly as the others have said. Keep him in overnight definitely. See how he is in the morning. |

Oh what a fright, I would be so upset to see either of my two fall out of a tree, glad to hear that he appears OK, I would certainly keep him in so that you can keep an eye on him. |

He seems fine. He has been purring away and gone to sleep upstairs in the girls bedroom with Troy and Lucky. I just panicked when i saw him fall a stupid woman even laughed at him. |

How terribly scary! But if he's eating OK and doesn't seem to have any broken bones or excessively sore spots and isn't limping, I'd wait and see how he is tomorrow. How high was the tree he fell from? |
