House sit

Well. like a bad penny, I'm back. Full of the cold and miserable as hell
Here's some pics of the dogs.

Oh and this was my neighbour, he thought I lowered the tone of the neighbourhood and was transfered to another feild a few days later

Big brute of a beast.

Re: House sit

Glad you're back Elaine but sorry to hear that you have a cold. Hope that Eva, Bernie and Graham manage to cheer you up. Looks like a lovely situation for a house sit, if a tad isolated - but then you did have the bull for company for a couple of days.

Welcome back Elaine

What a lovely setting, the dogs must have enjoyed racing around there........... is that a frost on the ground?

Re: House sit

It a big scarey bull Eileen
Yes Mags it was frost and the following 3 days were severe fog, followed by rain
The dogs themselves were really good but it was very lonely up there. Graham called one night, I told him how loneley it was and he said "I thought you always wanted to live in the country?". Which i do but not on my own
Harley is a ****** for taking bones, chew sticks off of Laurel, on saturday he got a nasty bite on his nose for his trouble. Blood everywhere, yelping, but when i got Harley cleaned up, the wound wasnt as bad as it sounds. Then sunday after their morning walk and a play in the garden, Laurel came runing round from the side of the house on 3 legs, must have landed badly on it or something, after a few minutes he was putting his weight back on it and there was no more limping.

Re: House sit

What lovely pics! I love how there's a few of them running around chasing each other outside, and then one of them crashed out afterwards! It looks pretty nippit and frosty up north too! No wonder you have a cold! Glad to have you back

Re: House sit

Hi - welcome back. Great pics. Love the way greyhounds are full of run outside and so quiet inside.

They look very nice dogs.
