1. Don't panic! 2. Keep feeding the Whiskas kitten 3. Offer them Whiskas kitten wet if you like - just small amounts at a time; they've only got little tummies. Sounds like they're not keen on wet at the moment though. 4. Don't chop and change too much Good idea to come off the Go-Cat, I think it's a fairly low grade food. They need good stuff when they're little to build up their bodies. |

If the biscuits are a kitten complete meal, dont worry about the meat. (Oli has Royal Canin kitten biscuits coz they are full of goodness!) As long as they have a fresh supply of water they will be ok. When Oli was a little kitten we had the opposite problem. He would eat the meat, but refused the biscuits. Now he is really fussy with meat, but loves his biscuits! Goodluck!! |

Adult go cat is really not a good enough diet for tiny babies to be weaned onto Anyway - agree with what's been said. Feed a good quality kitten food (complete or meat or both) little & often & remember they've been through a huge change in their life.... left mommy & litter mates, new environment & new people - it's a big thing for any baby to cope with, so if they're not too hungry for a day or 2 I wouldn't be too concerned. They'll soon settle & start eating. {worth remembering any dietary change should be done very slowly over a 5-7 day period, so I would have kept them on the adult go-cat whilst they settled in, however as you've already started them on the kitten food, I'd stick to that now & it's much more beneficial to them too} |

All my kittens where fed on whiskas kitten food. The two older cats went of it so i put them on go-cat to start with it gave them the runs. I finaly found technical dry cat food they wont touch wet food now ,you can get in kitten food as well. The two kittens eat it as well i couldnt stop them. I would perserver with whiskas for the moment changing the diet at the moment could uspet its tiny tummy. |
