Which browser are you using?Since posting my last announcement about getting people to switch browsers it has come to light that some people just don't know which one they are using - as they get their computer and just use what's on it  So please click the following link and it will not only tell you what browser you are using, but will also show you details about what features your browser supports: My browser info It will also let me know how many of our regular members on Catsey use which browser too - which I can then take a look at and use to post more specific installation info for those who want to change to Chrome or another modern browser

Fascinating; only part I understood was which browser I use! That will change when I get the new Mac; can I run this again, Az? Oh, it shows me as living in Falls Church, Va; which is wrong. Is that where the Earthlink phone for dial-up is located? |

Thanks guys! Eileen - yes you can run this again when you get your new Mac, although you will be running the latest super duper version of Safari so probably no need to When are you getting your new Mac? Have you decided on one yet? They are bringing out OS X Lion in July (although you will get a free upgrade if you buy now) |

Yes - very much so, especially for home users I used to be a die hard PC fan but always loved OS X (the operating system on Macs) and two of they major drawbacks of Macs was cost (they cost more than PCs) and user base (it was pretty small back then) but that is now rectified because since launching ipods and iphones Mac popularity is sky high - just under 60 million users now If you can afford a Mac, definitely go for one over a PC  |

Yeah... Beyond the fact that I'm so used to the PC operating system, and it would take me a long while to get used to even the simplest things you need to do with a Mac - easy rectified when you have one in front of you!, I just couldn't afford one... |
