Its Saturday

Morning everyone, just in from our morning walk. Seen loads of deer this morning which was nice.

Heading out to meet my folks later to take them to costco as they have never been. Got a few things to pick up elsewhere then home for some diy.

Hope you all have a great day

Re: Its Saturday

Evening all. It's Saturday evening here and we've had a beautiful hot day. It's still very warm tonight so no hotties for us.I'm sitting watching a Harry Potter movie with my daughter, while the budgie is flying around and cats are looking longingly through the glass door at him. Pamela, how uplifting to see the wild deer while out walking. They are beautiful creatures. Hope everyone has a wonderfully relaxing Saturday .

Re: Its Saturday

I'd love to be a fly on the wall in your house Dinky, to check out the cats' faces as they are watching the budgie fly around. I love it that you named your budgie Damon as that's my brother's name and now I can't get the picture of him as a budgie out of my mind !

Glad you enjoyed your walk Pamela, it must be very 'endearing' to see the wild life up close, - couldn't resist.

A quiet morning here, just making lunch, spicy parsnip soup with black pepper croutons. Gone much colder and need the warmth.

Re: Its Saturday

afternoon folks.
How lovely to see Deer, Pamela, how did Barney react ?
Dinky, i also would have liked to have seen the cats faces as they watched the budgie.
Nette, your soup sounds delicious.
Today we took the dogs for a walk around lytham for some socialisation.
Big mistake we didnt take their coats and it was freezing being near the coast, still 1/2 a Greggs sausage roll each did help, lol
Back home where it's warm now.
