Daily thread ~ Monday

Morning all!

It's very grey and stormy looking now after a lovely sunny start to the day......everywhere is still saturated after yesterday's torrential storms.

Have dropped my son off at the train station after having him here for a very nice weekend....goodness, how quickly those couple of days flew by

Today is being spent catching up on the chores I have neglected lately!

Hope you all have a good day!

Re: Daily thread ~ Monday

Dry but very dull here - after a day-long deluge yesterday. Have done some washing and have it on the line but it's just hanging there, so I suspect it'll have to come into the tumbler later.
I've had a thrilling morning doing an 'autumn clean' in the living room. Think that was a prelude to the seasons changing, the need to move the room around slightly to accommodate the log basket etc etc. Actually, we haven't even got the heating on yet - but I'm not boasting; I remember saying that last year and we were freezing with both radiators and woodburner on within 3 weeks!
OH has left till tomorrow pm. On the way he had to drop a picture in at the framers, to be re-glassed, after I dropped it to the floor whilst 'tweaking it level' yesterday!
That followed me managing to tip my dinner down my front, whilst putting it on the plate on the kitchen surface . Think it was one of those days! I was waiting for the third accident but luckily managed to avoid it. The planets must have been badly aligned

Re: Daily thread ~ Monday

Started off lovely here this morning but has now sadly deteriorated. Done the weekly shop, went to vets for some more worming tablets, kids driving me nuts already (cant wait for monday), and I'm trying to gut the house before thursday (Raechels birthday and the inlaws are coming to stay for a few days).

Now cleaned out both litter trays, washed food bowls and cleaned out the rabbit hutch, oh the joys of having pets, lol

Re: Daily thread ~ Monday

Not much going on here. Domi's been painting and is now watching Cbeebies and crashing around up in the sitting room and baby sleepeth (though I suspect not for much longer).

Both have been quite well behaved so I'm not as stressed today. Bought some clothes yesterday (only cheepies as have had to go up to size 16 for a bit until I can start working on this baby belly), but it's nice to have non-maternity clothes that fit and have a bit of style about them - makes the world of difference, mood-wise

Weather is overcast but the rain destined to arrive at midday (according the the weatherman) has not yet transpired.
