Daily thread ~ Sunday

Good morning everyone......I hope you all benefited from your extra hour's sleep last night!

It's a beautiful sunny morning here, quite mild to for the time of the year. The washing is out so, with luck, it will be dry by this afternoon

Cassie is outside enjoying the sunshine too......... looking for any insects that are still flying around. At least she has given up with the mice now

Spending a nice easy, quiet day today!

Enjoy your day all!

Afternoon!
It's a beautiful day here. We've been down to Studland but it was soooo crowded, the beach was more like Tesco on a Friday morning!
Venison casserole cooking, and Dorset Apple Cake (recipe just posted in the recipe sticky) for after. Mmm. Might be a bit heavy for a warm(ish) day but of course we have darkness at 5pm to look forward to ...
Hope everyone has a good day

I forgot to put the clock back and had an early night, so I was up at an obscenely early hour for a Sunday morning.

Howling wind and rain here. Book and cat on the settee weather.

Just back from Church. OH feeling a bit better, but has lost 1/2 stone so far with the gasttroenteritis (form an orderly queue for the diet of the century). Teddy not improved any, so will be phoning the vet first thing. Its a lovely day here, if a bit chilly. Will be having sausage casserole for dinner tonight!

My sons been suffering on and off since last Thursday when he travelled home from Germany by coach not a nice experience.

Today we went out for lunch, reality will hit back this week when I go back to work after the School hols, then went in the total opposite direction for a walk along Castle Coombe, it was beautiful, no coat needed x

I can testify to that diet!!! Had a nasty bout of gastroenteritis in the Spring, lost my appetite and lost over 5 pounds!! (Some gained back, now, )

Re: Daily thread ~ Sunday

Beautiful sunny day and winds finally abated; still a bit too chilly to sit on the porch, but 70's predicted for Tuesday! Spent an annoyed evening changing the clocks in everything; they all have different manuals and I never remember from Spring to Autumn how to do it... Then discovered today that the computer changed automatically and I had changed it lsst night so it was an hour slow!! Why can't we stay on Daylight time all year!!!
