Back from the Vet

All went well, Leia has put on a bit of weight, which is good as it seems the meds are working, her heart rate was normal and the slight heart murmur that was heard last visit is gone. The doctor will be calling me back later with lab results. Not too awful a visit, but her pitiful wailing just gets to me on the ride there... anyhow, it's over for now and we're both decompressing: she had her snack and I'm chilling amartini!

Re: Back from the Vet

She hunkers down on the examining table with her eyes dilated to almost no iris ... she is very scared of the vet! But has decompressed back home now and is napping ... a hard day.

Poor girl, and poor you having to worry about her. At least she is home and starting to chill.

Re: Back from the Vet

Poor you, poor Leia - some cats just never get over their fear. I've decided Kizzy is far more worried about the car journey than actually being at the vet.

Glad to hear all went well and you're both home chilling. Fingers crossed the blood results will show an improvement. That will certainly be a recommendation for the ear gel - I wonder when it will become available in UK.

Re: Back from the Vet

It's silly really; I know perfectly well she needs to see the vet for her own good and that she's being helped .... but I still feel like Judas betraying her!
