Re: Rainy Sunday

strange thing today
we took the dogs for a walk to the river where we can usualy let them off lead. Today there were cows in the next field , as soon as i saw them i remembered that last night i dreamt i was going to be trampled by cows.
We of course kept the dogs on leads and walked through the field with no cows, as we crossed a style i noticed a shape in the distance in the field we were in, as we got closer i noticed it was four cows , we decided not to try and pass them and turned back to go another way.It was very unusual for the cows to be in the field we were walking through.

Re: Rainy Sunday

Ooooo-errrrr Shelley - at least as you listened to your premonition, you escaped being trampled. I am very glad!

It's been a grey day here and rather chilly. I am opting for the special dark rum with ginger wine for my evening libation. Sun will be over the yardarm in 5 minutes. That will warm me up!

Hope everyone has had a good day.

(OH is watching a so-called horror film on TV "The House That Dripped Blood" - starring Jon Pertwee. Trouble is it is rather poor and seems a bit like a comedy version!)

Re: Rainy Sunday

Pamela, not sure why the cows were there as the majority of them were in another field, there was just 3 or 4. Years ago we would probably have walked past but too many stories of people with dogs being killed by cows. In my dream i remember thinking i wonder how much it will hurt, no idea why i dreamed about manic cows, lol
What sweets did you buy ?
Angie, these old horror films seem very tame now and as you say quite comical.
Rum and Ginger wine sounds very nice.

Re: Rainy Sunday

haha they are popular here! We have a sweet shop called Glickman's here and they are great!! My dad goes in and they know him!! He has been going in for years and knows the mother of the people working in it now. If you ever come to Glasgow you should visit the wee shop
