Hello! So glad it's Friday!! I was meant to work a half day today but have only just got in Imogen had surgery yesterday at a referral hospital to correct a problem with her tear ducts, it has been going on for a while but we were treating it medically when it flared up. After an attempt to flush her tear ducts to ensure they were patent wasn't successful we referred her to the specialists. It's very odd to be on the 'other' side and although I trusted them that she would be fine, the wait to hear for news and be able to collect her was very stressful. I was totally drained last night! Immy has coped very well and her eyes are looking good, she is very cross with me though as she has to be confined to the dining room, wear a cone and have drops twice a day, all very undignified!! Darcy is very confused about why she can't come out from behind the baby gate and spends a lot of time whining for her. I let them back together for a bit this morning and Darcy was licking Imogen's head while they had some head-rubs. They really do love each other Sorry you have been feeling under the weather Shelley, glad you're a bit better. Enjoy your weekend CS. |

Evening Shelley, CS and PL - Shelley glad you've been so heroic even though I don't supposed anyone has sung your praise, but perhaps we could have a Catsey Choir to do that? I used to love to sing and was in my school choir. We won the under 15s at the Chichester Music Festival in ummm 1965 ish. I also used to like to sing at home, but have been banned from doing that, especially with head phones on because sadly I am now as flat as the proverbial pancake! Liz, glad to hear that Imogen has come through her op OK - it is traumatic for owners and I guess if you have knowledge it makes it that bit more difficult. Lovely to hear that she and Darcy are so close. I keep saying that I hope my Monty and Pip will be like that one day and that Monty won't spend most of the time persecuting Pip, not that he fights back at all. Oh just btw I had a reply from Applaws - the Tuna fillet and whole anchovy is not discontinued, they've just had supply problems and are expecting it to be back w/c 15 Oct. |
