new kitten

going to see our new kitten at the weekend! Its a female BSH silver Tab one of these http://www.countrystylecats.co.uk/ (click on kittens for sale) We weren't planning on getting another cat but Marmaduke is still interested in playing with Chloe who still isn't interested in playing with him! so we're hoping that a new kitten will give him something to play with and hopefully lay off chloe!

Re: new kitten

We hope so! Marmaduke is now 6.5kg he's still growing so he's quite a lump to be jumping on Chloe!

Re: new kitten

Aww wee cuties, I have thought of a similar plan as Lester can't play with Tiger. They are getting on ok but Tiger is not interested in playing in any shape or form with Lester. Fortunately Lester has stopped jumping on Tiger

Re: new kitten

I wish Marmaduke would leave poor old chloe alone, shes 16-17 we think (rescue cat) and he's about 22 months and just about twice chloe's weight

Re: new kitten

Ah Tiger is around the same weight as Lester, so more than capable of keeping an over excited young kitty in check. Hope the plan works, Marmaduke should have his paws full and leave poor Chloe in peace.

Re: new kitten

Picked the new boy "Godfrey" up lastnight so here are a few quick pics of the little fella

He's 11 weeks! Sooooo different to Marmaduke ( a lot smaller) and when we brought him home he was straight out of the carrier and into everything. Godfrey is very timid in comparison! We’ve got him shut in our bathroom (its big) but he has been out for a little look around the house. We kept him in his carrier to start and Chloe didn’t seem to care much, Marmaduke on the other has the hump! Some hissing (he NEVER hisses) and he’s been sat outside the bathroom where Godfrey is, we’re going to have to take it slow I think.

Re: new kitten

Little Godfrey is completely adorable, what a super kitten. Hope that introductions go well, if not, he can come and live with me
