Friday daily

Well our overall concern is obviously today that Elaine did not return following yesterdays thread where she "promised to if she could" we need to start wondering whats happened? eaten by a folding bed...... dissappeared down the loo......... won the lottery and brought a small country.......forget the field...... held captive by moomoo's (cows)............ .... "where oh where is she" we cry.............

But that aside the weather here is a little overcast and I am debating my day.

Re: Friday daily

Yes, these tenterhooks are getting a bit prickly ... where is Elaine?

Hi Kazz - has been a lovely morning but clouded over now. I have been doing a bit in the garden and the greenhouse. Have planted out some herbs because the forecast is for improving warmer weather - do so hope that the forecast is right!

Not sure what to do this afternoon, some b****r has lit a bonfire nearby, so even if it clears up I shall not be going outdoors. OH took Monty for his walk up to the top of Kingley Vale this morning, so both will probably be asleep in front of the TV this afternoon. I may try a bit of arty stuff.

Have a good day peeps.

Re: Friday daily

Hi Kazz, Angie, happy Midsummer's Day! I hadn't realized it either. Lovely day here, already 23 C (79 F) and it's not even 11 am yet, and the t;storm threat isn't on for this afternoon. Still bagging and boxing, the end is somewhere in sight now.. Leia caught a mouse in the kitchen this morning, very proud of herself she was!

Well, we know it can't be snowmen that have kidnapped Elaine! Hope all's well with her.

Have a safe day, people!

Re: Friday daily

Evening everyone- any sign of Elaine yet?
Shelley- which pitch did you choose- hope you have the sea view! Well done Leia for the mouse. Happy Midsummer (?) everyone. Angie, hope you enjoyed time for some arty stuff.

It's been a long day at the end of a long week, I've been for a long run and am now drinking beer, watching Glastonbury on TV and feeling old!
