Friday's Thread

We haven't had one of these for a couple of days so thought I'd start one.

Just back from hospital and consultant visit. Nearly an HOUR late in seeing us - I was ready to leave!! However, the consultant (who also delivered Domi), prodded around and says head is 2/5 engaged and I might get my wish of junior #2 arriving early . . . as I'm having quite powerful and frequent 'practice' contractions also, this all points to maybe sometime next week

I'll try and forewarn, but if I suddenly disappear you'll know where I am

Will be putting my feet up with a couple of magazines today (Domi permitting) which is something I rarely if ever do!!

Re: Friday's Thread

Oh Yola, exciting yet scary at the same time. Hope you manage to get some peace & quiet and hope junior arrives soon for you.

Feeling a bit 'down' today. I had my sister & family to visit on Monday, and my nephew has been staying all week, had a friend and her family visiting yesterday and today I am on my own. My son Adam has driven my nephew home to London, and Rachel has gone too. There are meeting up with friends and then going to watch their team, Queens Park Rangers play this evening. They wont be home until after 12. I am a worrier, so wont relax until they are home, but I have to work all night though. I was going to have a relaxing day, but can't so am doing some housework to keep me busy.

Re: Friday's Thread

Sunny and warm today but have my "summer's gone" head on so have decided to put the rotary washing line in the shed for next summer. Am back to the ever faithful tumble dryer from now on.

Cleaned the bunny hutch out and the bunny run. The hutch was all wet inside so poor bunny had a soggy bed to sleep on. Not sure how the water is getting in, but we have had LOADS of rain. Amazing how quick the grass is green again!!

Emma had a friend sleep over last night and they have still not emerged - neither has Sean for that matter so will leave them all asleep for as long as possible for a quiet day!

Nothing much planned. Maybe cinema for the girls later and wander round shops for me and Sean. Have not got a single thing for their return to school in a week or so's time.

BM - technically I have 3 weeks (less one day) left. Actual due date is 14th Sept. However, I've always hoped this one would arrive in August also - simpler having kids 2 years apart in school rather than 3 by my reckoning!! However, having read Kim's exam comments (GCSEs and A levels at the same time), I'm not so sure now!!!

Yes I didnt take into account that scenario!!!

My two are 21 months apart so two years apart in school terms. A levels and GCSE's at the same time

Re: Friday's Thread

And don't I just wish you could send us some!! We had a Noah's Ark deluge in late June, and hardly anything much to speak of since....I would do a rain dance if I knew how
