Impressive shots, Luke! You say "new"; was this built or restored after the war? I have a vague memory in the back of my mind about Coventry and bombing ... whatever, it's beautiful. I aways enjoy your photography |

I always loved visting Coventry for that reason . . . I used to sneak a quick 1/2 hour away from business to go and gaze at the cathedral - it's stunning, both the ruin and the post-war rebuild. My other fave place in your city was Medieval Spon Street (where the hi-fi dealer that I used to visit was/is located). A most rare collection of VERY old buildings and so lucky to survive the extreme bombing that Coventry endured. |
