Two thoughts come to mind ....... i) Do you know if the poor cat has ever been mistreated? ii) The cat may be in pain. Does it have outdoor access? Could it have been involved in an accident with a car, thus causing any pain? I suggest you try to get the cat to a vet and get it checked over as soon as possible ....... maybe wear some thick gloves when handling the cat. Please let us know the outcome of the cat's behaviour. |
