Oh a hoopoe! How fantastic and an egret - we do actually see them in our local harbour, they've taken up residence and herons and that naughty hawk, not sure what sort he is. Wow!!!! Did you pay them all to pose so beautifully??? |

On looking at these pictures again Mags - 1. Lesser pied kingfisher (possibly!) 2&3 Cattle egret 4. Pelican 5. Don't know. 67&8 Hoopoe 9. Spur-winged plover (possibly!) 10. Hooded crows and cattle egret. 11. Don't know. 12. Don't know. 13&14 Little egret 15,16&17 Not sure but could be female Merlin! OH and I have had fun trying to track these birds down!! Many thanks. |
