kuan yin recovery pics (from spay)

after picking up the next day...almost 24 hours since surgery...

found comfort in the sun..

later that night...a day and a half after surgery..the hollowness i was talking about around her hipbones...

today...two days after surgery...

feeling much better..worshipping the sun..

but still worn out..you can see her shaved belly and sutures here tho it's not the best pic..

Awww I can see what you mean about the hollowness and her tail between her legs. She must have woken up wondering what had happened to her! She looks great now though X

It always interests me how different things are done in different countries. I don't know how big Kuan Yin's wound is, but in the UK, we shave the flank on the left hand side, and the incision is about an inch long at the most.

It's been almost 8 years since Leia was spayed, but she wasn't shaved as much on the belly and the incision was very small, about an inch; only a few tiny stitches.

Good to see Kuan Yin perkier and enjoying the sunshine!

My Eva is only 3 and she was done from the under belly too. Dont remember her being shaved as much and the wound was very small.
Glad she has perked up now though xxxx
