She is getting on with no problem. She was a birthday present from a friend. When she arrived I was really worried as she is only 12 weeks old. All of the hens have ignored her. It's as if they looked at her and thought 'what's that!' Perhaps because she is so young? Don't know, but really pleased she hasn't been bullied.

Have to say I am so smitten with her - gorgeous.

What have you got just now?

Re: New Silkie

I've just got the 5 gingernuts, who are all getting on a bit now (about 2), and they aren't laying so much now. Want to get a few more for egg production (and a silkie 'cause they are so darn cute), but OH has put his foot down lol. So my girls will live out their days before I get any more.
