Re: Senior Moments...........

Memorization was a big thing in my school days... can still easily reel off stuff from more than 60 years ago ..... and can't remember where I put the hot water bottle ...

Re: Senior Moments...........

I can remember things from 30 odd years ago, mostly things like, "Wait till your dad gets home and see's the mess you made" or "When will you learn to take a bloody telling"
I used to think that one ear was supposed to be bright red and stingy.

Oh I think there is a lot of rhythm to 'adhesive plantulae on tarsal podomeres' .

Re: Senior Moments...........

We had both long term and short term memories, I assume the senior moments are short term................

Re: Senior Moments...........

Yes, short term memory goes first ..... but, "senior moments" are not always to do with age, they can be affected by hormonal changes, the menopause for example. Memory can recover afterwards .... well, I like to tell myself that anyway.

Re: Senior Moments...........

My short term memory is shocking. I can leave things that im meant to take from my mums or sisters that they have told me 2mins previously to take. Definately not an age thing!! However, i can remeber dates that things happened or what happened on certain days months/years ago!!
