Re: Frying Friday!!!

If only Eileen - wouldn't that be lovely?
Asparagus picked at 11am and bass caught in Lyme Bay last night. The fishmonger was so proud of its freshness he had to demonstrate that it still had rigor mortis by holding it out straight by almost the tip of its tail!
I'll raise my glass to you - so say Cheers! at about 3pm your time

Re: Frying Friday!!!

It was great! Eaten outside under the veranda with a glass or three of Oceans Edge NZ Sauvignon Blanc. We've moved inside now; the cats have been given tasty little bits from the fish skeleton, OH is watching French rugby on TV and I am chilling!
I moved the 'fig in a pot' to a space in the garden this afternoon - what a large hole I had to dig, how heavy the pot was and ouch my back is complaining Hopefully the SB and a paracetamol will do the trick!

Re: Frying Friday!!!

I survived! Imogen had her spay today After a cuddle I kept out of the way until it was all over, such a wuss! She has recovered really well and has had some i/d for dinner.
The weather was beautiful here today although I spent most of it inside! Although I've just been along the canal for a lovely walk with a little stray jrt who came in today.

Re: Frying Friday!!!

I'm so glad Imogen came thru with flying colors and has eaten; sure it would be OK but we can't help but worry anyway. A canal to walk long ... how nice! We have one here and I do enjoy a walk along a bit of it in the City.

Re: Frying Friday!!!

Hi all, boy! Its been hot here today - it was 23and a half C at noon and got hotter til about three when a cooling breeze thankfully sprang up. I have asthma, excema and hay fever so sometimes too hot weather is not so good for me! Funnily, the hay fever was worse yesterday but the skin s been a bit itchy in my elbow creases today so its all very unpredictable but all loads better than it once was.

Finished working for six and have spent the very warm evening (in my house anyway!) sorting out receipts, bank statements and such like for my tax return. Boring job but keep putting it off so decided to tackle it this weekend. Watched Britains got Talent and decided had to pop onto Catsey for a while before more sorting receipts ...

One of you (forgive me not remembering who) mentioned the Sims 3 - addicted to the Sims 2 and have most of the add on s etc please let me know what the Sims3 is like and how it compares!!! Jan x
