here's hoping, but like I said, he's an "ignore it and it'll go away" type.

Anyway, sorry to take over the thread with my rantings! Should have posted this in the 'relationship' section. Sorry!

Re: Fridays Daily

We had another very heavy fall of snow last night...
Most of the schools are closed today and bus services have been suspended.
Bristol Airport was closed earlier until conditions improve. Ambulances in the region have switched to 4 x 4's to keep services running ......... and both the Severn crossings are closed due to ice falling from the top of the bridge structures onto the cars.

Everything is beginning to turn very slushy underfoot now with large pools of water everywhere which doesn't bode well with temperatures dropping to -3 and -6 in parts of the South West tonight....

Re: Fridays Daily

Just a weather update
Heavy snow, which is pitching/sticking/settling/lying (I know we've had that discussion several times before)

Re: Fridays Daily

Thanks Nat - I'll have a look later in more detail and PM you. Knowing the royal mail it'll probably cost more to ship it from Wales than to buy it new!!

Seb'll like that as it's the same colour as my 'grown up' one

Re: Fridays Daily

We had no new snow this morning, but it's snowing here now - a bit wetly, but it's cold enough to freeze.

Re: Fridays Daily

Sun and warming up here ....-1 now and supposed to make 5 degrees by afternoon. This Winter has been too cold and too long, cannot wait for decent weather! Should have gone to the bank but didn't feel like venturing out in the cold, so just pottering around, so no news, as usual.

Meep, I'm generalizing, but men do tend to ignore a problem, and hate discussing feelings/emotions, IMO. Sorry the day got off to such a rotten start; hope he'll be OK by tonight. Mags, your snow sounds nasty! We have to start sending warming vibes to the weather Gods!

May the snows melt away and the sun shine on everyone!
