It isn't overpowering and it neutralises unpleasant smells, a lot of which are unavoidable in the Homes. One lasts about 2 - 3 months ........ Yup - Crabtree and Evelyn for me too. The Christmassy one is lovely (Noel, it's called), but they do subtler ones like Salt Air (good for bathrooms) or Nantucket Briar (lovely in bedrooms). None are specifically girlie so can be used generically throughout the house.

In addition to sprays, they do light bulb rings + oils, drawer liners, candles, pot pourris etc. in matching scents.

I find the Glade plug-in scents a little harsh but I guess it's ultimately down to personal preference.

Those glad wisp things are quite nice, they do tend to last a few months, and you don't need to plug them in.
