I found Catsey from a google search.
Lots of friendly , knowledgeable members , good crowd overall

. I'm here for a good laugh, to receive/give advice and to share photos of my two kittens.
I enjoy the cat photos section and some of the other forums are very helpful.

Compared to a lot of other forums I'm a member of I do find Catsey forum is very strict, and it has some issues with how rules are policed. I also find the advertising very annoying. Think the forum software could also do with an update as well, looks dated.

I was directed here via a PM from a UK member (who subsequently didn't really post here) from a US cat site which WAS cliquey and bitchy and very hard work and everything usually degenerated into a pro-Bush political rant from the owner of the site.

It was a breath of fresh air to find people here who where actually saying what they thought without any ulterior motives or underhandness (is that a word?

). It is nice to focus on cats and friendship as I find life throws enough rubbish at you and it's good to have a safe haven to run to.

I found Catsey through a search engine, and I stayed because I was given the most fabulous support when I was going through a horrific time with Teddie. I have made some wonderful friends on here and while I don't post as much these days (just not feeling so emotionally great for a while) I log on every day and catch up on the news. I love seeing pics of everyones cats, and hearing what you all have been up to
