Re: Been to the hospital with my daughter

Hi hope you get it sorted I broke my wrist in a similar way puttting your hand out to break your fall. I broke the schaphloid bone,

Hope she's on the mend soon. I found the sling useful for putting things into such as mobile phone etc etc

Bluebell fits quite nicely in the sling & seems to enjoy being taken for a walk around the garden

What a rotten thing to happen! Best wishes to your daughter and I hope it all heals up quickly.
She'll have all her friends queuing up to sign her plaster when she gets back to school!

Re: Been to the hospital with my daughter

oh Smudgley you have GOT to get a photo of bluebell in the sling lol.

Well, I didnt mean to tell you what you have to do,but you know what I mean.

Is the arm settling down a bit now?

I broke my right scaphoid four times now, i fell over a tree once lol. Another time fell down the stairs with a hoover, another time just fell over and the last time slipped on ice.

Other than that and all fingers ( not including thumbs) i not broken anything, oh apart from a few toes.

Had plenty of other accidents though, brick thrown at head once.

It's hilarious the things yous ee in A and E.
Had a grandad and grandson come in once with saucepans stuck on thier heads. they had been palying soldiers, ran towards each other and bumped heads.
even the grandad was laughing!

hope she soon doing better though.

If i break my arm can I have bluebell????

Re: Been to the hospital with my daughter

I knew of an old lady who about 18 months ago fell over and a wobbly and broken paving slab and broke her ankle.
The council told her she cant claim compo unless the gap is big enough to fit a 50p coin in. Ridiculous isnt it!!!

just hope your daughter is ok. A few days lounging about watching dvd's might help too lol
