Evening guy's Just put kiddies to bed but they are watching dad putting the doors on the garage. Nope it;s not quite finished but managed to get the roof on and other fiddly bits today. Have discovered another 6ft of garden as me and MIL attacked the overgrown hedge with lopers, shears and little pruning shears Also uncovered 3 of my roses bushes, unfortunately all dead I also found my 3 pots so more flowers are going to be potted next week and hubby was kind enough to get my bamboo sticks out of the shed so I can now train my Jasmine up the stick instead of trailing over the floor Have had a very eventful day today but am absolutely shattered |

Good evening all. We had a good day, went to central Birmingham (about 40 mins drive from us) to visit the 'Birmingham, back to backs' These houses literally built 'back to back' to house poorer people from 18th century until the 1960's. They are now owned by the National Trust. They were fascinating and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Anyone else visited? Spent the rest of the day cooking, cleaning and doing a bit of gardening. All hanging baskets and tubs now planted and the garden is looking nice and colourful. |
