Re: What's it like where you live?

well we live in Coventry, its very much city life in Coventry, but where we actually live is just off the CLifford Road which leads into Rugby and such so...
this is the city centre in town about an hour or so away fromour home

the infamous Coventry cathedral

the statue of Lady Godiva, this is by the tower clock

now we are a little closer to Luke's home
the Kenilworth road isnt to far from us actually

then the lovely part of the high street in town, its very olde-worldy and the banks are these huge old marble and stone buildings! it even has cobbled roads, this is the off road it recentlly had a new road put in and a dreaded KFC i saw put in place, but look at those lovely buildings!

the main part of the grand old Coventry council houses

then we have the charmin Spon End which has been turned into lovely small shops behiond this ancient exterior, its very nice it even has the Glaziers market on a Saturday afternoon

then the newly revamped Transport Museum but it has an isaw sculpture outside which raps above and around the museum and Lady herberts garden!

then my favourite place, so tranquil this is a fair way away from our house but i love it, its Lady herberts Garden

Then we have the fabulous Coombe Abbey which is roughly 20 minutes or so from our house, great for walking the dogs

this is the regal part of Coombe Abbey the BIG house which is now a hotel!

but then we have pictures taken by me from around our house
this is across the road, and about a 10 minute walk from the house and these are just fields that rap around hither and there, and fills up the land that takes you ointo the dreaded Binley ringroad

THEN THE VIEW FROM MY BEDROOM WINDOW, THOSE buildings are storage for something not quite sure what, and as you can see its basically desloate land except for a row of houses way beyond those trees, the only thing is one huuge road which raps past the supermarket and the farm etc, please note the coventry council is pathetic, it comes to something when a fence is put up around a silent dosile cul-de-sac

i winge about where i live but would you all say it was so bad?
