I know DM . . . it's a cultural thing. Which is one reason why I would never buy a property in France; I'd fall out with the neighbours pretty sharpish But still - I'm sure it's difficult for your friends as every poor uncared-for kitty must tug at the heartstrings quite hard, but I do appreciate their dilemma

Just to update you - Kea came back from Dave & Chris's xmas/new year French trip and is now happy in their house in kent! She was a good girl on the journey and seems content to be confined to the house for now.
Lucky girl!
