Re: Daily thread-sunday

I wonder if the heat got too much for your Dad, Kazz? Elderly people can be very stubborn as far as hospitals and doctors are concerned......I know only too well!
Will you be going with him to the docs tomorrow? It would be a good idea as sometimes they have a habit of forgetting to tell the doc all the symptoms....or conveniently ignoring them....

I hope everything is alright with him......let us know how he gets on tomorrow

What a worry kazz I agree that going along with him and your mum will be a good idea, then you can remind him of all his symptoms if he happens to forget any of them Really hope it goes ok for him at the Docs Kazz x

Oh Kazz - isn't life wonderful? The more you cope with the more it throws at you. Take care - hope to hear good news tomorrow (but suspect it may be a day of 'tests') Hope your Dad is fit and fine soon.

Re: Daily thread-sunday

Thanks all he did mumble to Mom he wan't going the Doctors but when I was summed by Mom to hear him say it he back peddaled and said he hadn't said that - apparently he said it later and when my Sister descended he again backed down - he was then given a good talking to by Katie (13) and told to behave and stop scaring Nanny and everyone then Sophie told him even if he didn't go to the Doctors - he could still come and watch her swim because "she loves him so much - at times it hurts her heart" so an in tears Dad now appears to be going to the Doctors tomorrow.

Sophie swims for the County now and my Dad sounds like a whole audience shouting her on - he actually Boo's the others but she's got that competitive streak he has that none of us his children or Katie have - if she can't win she can't see the point in entering but she only wants to rave those faster than she is to beat them.
