Re: Daily thread-sunday

my boring old hubby wont take me to the boot sale not far from me, says he isnt going to watch me buy other peoples junk.

we're off to the towns "continental" market today, it's part of the annual two day fayre. they WORST fayre I have ever seen I may add. each year it's very poor, not much money put into it, not many stalls etc.
Yesterday the only two shows were a sheep dog herding ducks and people ( i thought you werent meant to ENCOURAGE them to herd people) and the local brass band, four times over, and in between the parachute display team, which was the highlight of the day. elliot was mesmerised saying " ooooh noooo man fall plane" (as in the man fell out of the palne). But he was fine when he saw them land, and even clapped and cheered.

other than that and fixing ryans two bikes that both need new inner tubes, no plans ( i never even fixed a puncture before so changing an inner tube will be fun)

have a good day

Morning!

Lovely and sunny and hot already! Washing on line and my mum and dad are popping down to do the garden before it gets boiling! Other than that a trip to Tescos is planned.

Exciting eh??

Yup - v. hot here too !!! Been to Waitrose for the shopping, Domi's now watcing Mary Mungo and Midge on DVD (hands up who remembers that . . . from 1969)!!!!! Hubby is laying edging and footings in the garden and I'm sorting some lunch out.

Later we'll head off down to B&Q and also to a really good building yard to get our bricks and our garden lighting.

Barbecue again this evening, but I'll be having an early night as I have a big new business presentation tomorrow.

Hope everyone enjoys their Sunday

Re: Daily thread-sunday

Well a lovely morning weather wise - bit of a shock health wise. My Mom panicked and said "Dad was having a heart attack" when I got there he was sitting up and chatting I have no idea what it was he looked pale but refuses to go to the hospital and I have to say he looks okay to me. Not like Dad to be poorly though he says he thinks he has a peptic ulcer (self diagnosis) and reeled off symptoms he's had for the last few months - I hassen to add he never mentioned any of them before he said he didn't want to bother anyone. Well he seems okay so off to the Doctors tomorrow he goes.

Parents eh who'd have 'em

Other than that weather is perfect and the day is nice. Karen
