Poor Robert is sooooooo knackered he's gone overnight fishing . Perfect peace in my house tonight, kids are in bed and he's sitting at the side of a pond somewhere, bliss!! slugs! Don't mention those evil things to me!! the trails are every where, but so is my trusty salt lol! They enjoyed my dahlias and marigolds last year, and I've already noticed that they've had a munch at my bellis'. No more, they will all have to DIE!!!! |

Slugs aren't too much of a problem here, but squirrels !!! I've heard that if you spread sharp gravel or sand around the plantings, they'll avoid it...never tried. Also have you heard of the beer solution: put a saucer of stale beer out and they'll drown (awful waste of good beer...) |
