Afternoon all, another sunny, hot day here! Have been trying to get through all my little jobs this morning as I have Katie and Jamie coming round for the afternoon ......oh the joys of keeping little ones occupied!!   |

Took a long time but the sun is out now and I think it is going to be pretty hot this pm. Been to town to stock up for the weekend and have a poke aroud (and a coffee and pastry!). Town is busy because of the Steam Fair http://www.gdsf.co.uk/ Some (most) nice people but we also have an influx of 'travellers', who are not the best neighbours. They are currently illegally encamped by the river, so it will be interesting to see when and if they get moved on to the official site for them. Also means Dinah can't go for a walk by the river  Wonder how Yola is getting on with her invasion of festival goers? Similar issues I'm sure. It's a bit like being beseiged - certainly makes getting in and out of town a pain, with the hoardes of cars. |

Its been another miserable day here - we are supposed to be having sunny warm weather from yesterday through the bank hol weekend, but it just isnt happening...... At home with the kids this afternoon. |

Still overcast here too Donna. Watery sunshine but not real warmth to it. Came back in to town from taking my Mum home and passed quite close to the festival site - looked like fun with lots of multicoloured hair all over the place - I felt quite at home, having recently had my blonde and red stripes re-instated Our festival-goers rarely cause trouble, it's the local ASBO-in-waiting brigade that usually try and pick fights with them  |

Weather's clearing up here too, sun is coming out and it's going to warm up to the mid 90'F ...yay! I'm not a cool weather person! Same old same old here, market run and nothing special planned..... Enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend, those of you who have it! |
