Morning all

The weather looks promising here so I'd better get the dogs out before it gets too hot. Yesterday was a scorcer

Re: Daily Thread/Friday

Taking my Mum back to London today as her babysitting shift is over . . . now it's down to me until Dominik returns back to school on the 5th of Sept. Weather is overcast but brightening all the time, so I'm hopeful it'll be nice shortly.

The speed humps were FINALLY put in yesterday on the little access road behind us which is a relief as it should slow down some of the boy racers that use it!

Re: Daily Thread/Friday

Sun is trying to push through here. Am off to get ready to take a drive up to Fraserburgh.
Called the woman who's rabbit, cats and hamster I am looking after in Sept, to arrange to meet and go over all the details when she asked if I could also look after her mothers cat too So thats 2 jobs booked for that week. I am a little worried about it though as this mum's cat does have a heart condition and will need meds. Not worried about giving it the meds just worried that something goes wrong with the poor cat whilst in my care.
Anyway, hope you all have a fab day xxx

Morning all.
Carol you can come and do my ironing if you want

The sun is starting to push through now. I was late for school with Ceilidh this morning. The little miss had "bumps and lumps" in her socks . Agh.
Not a lot planned for today (may iron there again may not) That's how I'm feeling .
Half day at school so cant really do much.
Have a great day all.

Charlie not long til you leave work

Re: Daily Thread/Friday

Morning.
Dull at the mo but brightness and sun promised for later. The jeep has gone in for its MOT, so we await developments on that. They've told me for the last 2 years that the tyres are nearing their end and I should consider renewing anyway if driving in ice/snow (yeah, I'll do that ), so we may be in for a bill in that direction.
Chester had a 'day out' yesterday. He was spotted by my OH whilst i was at the allotment, so that would be about 11, then there was no sign of him, which is odd as he is a real homebody. I was about to post a 'Chester's gone awol' post when he turned up about 3.30. He was a little agitated, and only ate half his tea. I think he got himself shut in somewhere, although there was a house move a few doors down, so maybe the removers comings and goings spooked him. We wondered if he was in the van heading to Cardiff! All's well, he's fine now.
Hope it's a good day for everyone, and Bank Holiday for the English and Welsh on Monday, so an extra reason to enjoy Friday!
