Re: Daily Thread/Sunday

Hot days?? Lucky people; it's still unseasonably cool here, only 13 degrees now! In the last three days we've had almost four inches of rain; more predicted this afternoon, tonight and all day tomorrow, some very heavy! The ground is too wet to dig; my lovely new climbing fuchsia is still sitting in the window waiting to be planted..; also the basil and hot peppers. At least I've managed to pull more weeds in between the rains! Did two days marketing as tomorrow sounds like a good day to stay inside.

Kazz: do you still have those plans for an ark?

Have a lovely day, all!

Eileen I shelved the ark plans but could dust them off if needed.
Yola sounds idylic a picnic by the thames....will you go on the boats?
Emma I think it because the more energy you use the more you feel like doing something....hope the plants haven't wilted wilted cucumber - YUK.
Hope everyone has had a nice day the weather is sweltering but I have been at work so always seems hotter then.

Re: Daily Thread/Sunday

Hi all,
Feeling very jet-lagged and a bit wobbly but I've finally managed to get the last of the laundry drying out in the sun. So nice to come back to lovely weather, went up to my mum's earlier to collect Kindly and had lunch in the garden.
Happy Birthday MrsH!
Lxxx
