Afternoon ladies! Yes I'm safe and well angie and Yola. Thanks for the concern  I had an absolute ball yesterday. We danced and sang and had lots fo fun. The violence at the end was disgusting, but please don't judge the vast majority of the Rangers fans by the actions of a few hundred mindless thugs. GMP have praised our fans for being well behaved and having a carnival atmosphere, they lay the blame firmly at the feet of a few hundred louts. Official figures say we had 200,000 fans there, 199,700 behaved, 300 didn't!! I'd like to thank the people of Manchester for putting on a great day for us and aoplogise for those mindless few. |

Hi, all! Alex, glad you're OK; what a shame that a few hooligans ruin things!  Thanks all for the birthday wishes; nothing special planned; no one has suggested dinner out yet so will just fix myself a nice meal! Not that I don't every day...  ; Leia is behaving herself and it's a lovely sunny day, 22 degrees and not noon yet! Going to plant some coriander seed this afternoon, soil is a bit cool yet for the beans. Rain is due back late this afternoon and all day tomorrow, so want to get the yard work done....our drought is officially over! Hope the weather improves for those having not-so-nice, and that everyone has a lovely day! |
