Thanks everyone! (Sorry for late reply, for some reason I didn't get the notification email??) Cats are the best company! Last night Darcy jumped up onto the bed and slightly 'threw' himself down between OH and I, leaning against both our legs and as he hit our legs he let out a huge purr, like an outward sigh, and continued to purr really loudly with his eyes squeezed tight in a look of utter contentment. You can't not smile at that and fall asleep feeling happy ETA: Although this morning I woke up with Minsky's tail on my face. Across my nose and mouth. A new tactic for getting me up to feed them I'd wager. |

I'm desperate to get some of their antics on video Eileen, but I swear everytime i pull it out they stop what they're doing and stare at me with the blankest look ever. Last night Darcy found his ball and started a game off himself, patting it with his paw until it bounced along hte floor, then he fully launched himself after it, skidding along the wooden floor claws scratching, bashed into the front door, flipped over, wriggled his bum and pounced again. Minsky has even learnt how to 'pat' it continuously over in my direction so I can throw it for him. I'll often turn round whilst boiling the kettle to see a little pink ball at my feet and an expectant Minsky looking up at me They are such characters, yet I have no video evidence to show you all! |
