Re: Sunny Saturday

Hi again - thought I'd better get myself back here to say that I AM feeling a lot brighter now. OH came back at lunchtime all contrite and we all went back to the allotment for some digging and raised bed making. 1 1/2 big ones done - J + G artichokes completed and asp/blackberry on its way Thank you for the kind and cheerful words.

DM - you don't think someone's taken a shine to Chester do you? Maybe a lonely old lady or something and decided to 'adopt' him? It's strange for him to just completely disappear like that!

Re: Sunny Saturday

I missed the sunny day, by the time I left work it was mizzling and now it downright POURING!
DM, I'm just echoing what the rest of the girls are saying but I'm still wishing Chester home, or that at least he's safe. You have a great outlook though and I admire your pragmatism.
Yola, WE won't forget your birthday love. Send me a PM with the date and will ensure it won't be forgotten! I'm soon to be another year older ( ok, 49, I said it ) and although I don't relish it, I'd hate the occassion to be missed. Enjoy the fruits of your labours and give OH a good slap for me

Re: Sunny Saturday

DM, my prayers are with you...

Overcast and ugly here today..OH is still sleeping in and I have the feeling it's going to be a lazy day.
Will need to pop into the drug store and the library...must say I'm enjoying the V.C. Andrews series I've been reading and there are many other series for me to read so I should be kept busy for awhile in that respect. I used to read her when I was in high school but my memory is so bad I've forgotten which stories I've read so they all are new to me.
May go grocery shopping today if OH is up to it as I've gotten my monthly food allowance today. Still hoping for good news in the mail (it didn't show up yesterday) as it is something that will settle my mind about some finances.
I'm afraid I've come down with a virus..my throat is hurting as is my head and I'm stuffed up. I believe Baby Bear has gotten it too (ferrets can catch certain human viruses) as his eyes are watery, he's sneezing, and he seems a bit lethargic. Feel guilty I may have passed something to my baby (they're like human infants) and will be warming up some chicken soup for him and watching him closely.
Have a good day all!

Re: Sunny Saturday

Give yourself some of that good chicken soup too; helps with the symptoms. Fingers crossed that the envelope comes Monday. Take care of yourself!
