Friday here too! And a beautiful sunny day, already 16C and even warmer tomorrow and most of the coming week. I'm tempted to move all the amaryllis outside, also the potato-in-a-pot, which is very leggy. too early to plant the tomatoes outside yet, I think. Shopped at the Safeway for the last time; it's closing for a year while the old building is razed and a new larger one built. Everything is 20% off, so stocked up on things, as that's a nice savings...the shelves were almost bare, however. But the delivery service will continue, with the bonus of NO DELIVERY CHARGE during the interim! I can live with that! Hope it's a happy, productive day for all! |

The Safeway in Reading was taken over and rebranded as Morrisons - not sure if that was the same all over the country though. |

I'm going to miss my Safeway though. Have shopped there since my mom took me along when I was a child...this will be the 4th building, all at almost the same location. And the new one will be larger, meaning it will take weeks to find where everything is! |
